Members James Atles
James Atles is an Indie/Folk artist from England, and is based in Perth, Australia. He prides himself with using the past and future, combining to make something not quite as good as either. Before you listen to his music, you must first ask yourself one simple question, “Does he look like a reasonable man to you, or a peppermint nightmare?
His apparent success is all because in the early stages of James’s life he found a magic note between B & C. He took a note, sawtooth wave, right off this pantomime four, ran it back, re-jammed it through itself, looped it back, mixed it with the sound of this crab committing suicide, and let it stew in its own reverb for about three hours, right? And then he pumped it all out through this shoe, to give it that oaky timbre.
Started a solo project after going to watch a 'Frank Turner show'.
Local Influences for me would stretch across from England to Australia. Frank Turner, Peace, Tribes, The Hornblower Brothers, Jay Jay Pistolet, These Winter Nights, Mind Canary
