Describe Your Sound

The Mondays is a unique blend of Alt rock, pop, jazz and other influences. The 5 piece features rich harmonies, slow jams and upbeat dance numbers.



Dan Mijat


In 2011 Luke, Dan and Isaac started a band named 'A Different Kind of Blue' after all coming together in high school. Soon They recruited Beth although did not play any gigs with her. In 2012 Beth left the band and Josh Kader (from the same high school) joined. 2012 was also the beginning of live gigs for the group. In 2014 'A Different Kind of Blue' became 'The Mondays' and recorded their debut EP Groove. In the process of recording the EP, The Mondays joined forces with Anupriya to complete the set.

Career Highlights

Our highlights so far have been, the release and recording of our Groove EP. The recording of two new soon to be release singles 'Wurly' and 'Wasted Time'. Our song 'Groove' being featured in a short documentary called 'Street Art: A PUBLIC Affair'. Also the few radio interviews, Pirate radio, 6EBA and ECU radio.

Current Activity

The Mondays are currently in the process of releasing two new singles.
