RTRFMs annual Radiothon Subscription Drive is underway and as always we’re throwing a massive party to celebrate. The 2010 Radiothon Opening Party descends upon the Astor Cinema in Mount Lawley for a night of fun, dancing, and a few surprises across three separate spaces in the Astor complex.

On the main stage catch the upbeat vibes of local partymakers Boys, Boys, Boys, the svelte dancefloor pop of The Voltaire Twins, horns galore and more grooves than you can throw a stick at with The Brow Horn Orchestra, the fun pop stylings of Milly James, with your MC for the evening, the irrepressible master of the dancefloor and king of crowds – Tomás Ford.

Upstairs in the candy bar, keep yourself moving whilst picking up a refreshment as we present some of the city’s best DJs in Diger Rokwell, Mama Cass, Charlie Bucket, and RTRFMs own Sardi and Ben Elliott.

Plus, the upstairs cinema will transform into a chill out room, featuring experimental sounds from Craig McElhinney, Mystic Eyes, Rabbit Island and Gilbert Fawn, with live visuals onscreen from RTRs own Kynan Tan and friends.

Presale tickets are available at http://www.rtrfm.com.au/events. They are $15 for RTRFM subscribers and $20 for general admission. You can also pick up presale tickets from Planet, Mills and 78s for $20 + booking fee.

If any tickets are available on the door they will be more expensive. Gold and Platinum subscribers get free entry on the door on the night but come down early for guaranteed entry.
