Thee Oh Sees / Castle Face
Featured: Week starting 14th April / Breakfast with Caitlin

Five months after announcing an eventual band hiatus, the garage-psych Thee Oh Sees are surprisingly releasing their Drop on April 19th, Record Store Day.  Captured at a friend’s banana ripening warehouse, the album features collaborations with Mikal Cronin, Greer McGettrick, Casafis and Chris Woodhouse, the warehouse owner. “Penetrating Eye” is said to be one of the more powerful and psychic tracks since their debut.  It is perhaps the contrast between the calm beginning and the sudden “drop”, which destabilizes one’s attempt to follow, and this is how it should be Oh Sees-wise anyway.
