Gemma Pike

Gemma Pike is a 20-something year old who has hosted our new release program, Out to Lunch, since 2003. Over the years she has also dipped her toes into Morning Magazine, Drastic on Plastic and Saturday Arvo Rewind.

Gemma loves many genres of music, but is often bias towards a release if the artist or group contains men with beards. Her favourite all time group is The Velvet Underground, despite Lou Reed never sporting facial hair. She has worked all over town in Perth’s multi-faceted arts community and enjoys cooking, painting, travel and books.

In the real world, she works as a photographer and lives in a cosy little house with her boyfriend and a cat.
