I grew up in Lima until the age of 19 and after some moving around, I came to Perth where I started performing solo and in bands. Currently I study composition at WAAPA, organise experimental gigs, write live reviews and enjoy collaborations with local artists and performers.

How did you become involved in the station?

I had come to the station a few times to present my own music, but once I began to write reviews and host events, joining RTRFM as a presenter seemed like the natural thing to do. I am very passionate about the local music scene.

If stuck on Mars, what five albums could you not go without?

  • The Beatles – Abbey Road
  • Bob Dylan – Blood on the Tracks
  • Hank Mobley – Soul Station
  • Miles Davis Quintet – Relaxing
  • Heitor Villa-Lobos – 5 Guitar Preludes

What is the best thing about being involved in the station?

Sharing amazing music and being part of a radio station that cares about the community.

What is the strangest thing that has happened to you at RTRFM?

Nothing too strange, but I am expectant.

If you could present a show other than your own, which would it be and why?

It would be El Ritmo as I am very keen on all kinds of Latin American music.

What do you do in real life?

I try to do as many music related things as possible.
