How did you become involved in the station?
My introduction to RTR began with a guest mix on Ben Em’s stellar edition of Full Frequency. Feeling the positive energy in studio and becoming more aware of the diverse music being played on the station, I fancied the idea of sharing the music I love to the wider Perth community, so I signed up for the presenters course!
If stuck on Mars, what five albums could you not go without?
The majority of the dance music I listen to is released on 12”, these the albums are the ones I’d take if I had to leave today..
- Kiki Gyan – 24 Hours in a Disco
- Nuyorican Soul – Nuyorican Soul
- Compilation – Studio One for Lovers
- Ebo Taylor – Life Stories
- Glenn Underground – Lounge Excursions
What is the best thing about being involved in the station?
The enjoyment I of sharing music that I love with the culturally conscious citizens of Perth city & beyond.
What is the strangest thing that has happened to you at RTRFM?
No strange happenings yet.
If you could present a show other than your own, which would it be and why?
Full Frequency! Exceptional showcase of underground dance music, with a great bunch of presenters both past & present, many of which have shaped the way I listen, play and dance to music.
What do you do in real life?
DJ round town, work at the YMCA, social work student, really just soaking up the student life.
