Originally from Copenhagen in Denmark (Scandinavia) also lived in the UK, France and currently Perth, Western Australia. Music takes me higher… I love bringing people together through music and I couldn’t live without it. I’m a former club DJ and musician. I collect music of every genre, looking for the perfect beat and love mixing music at home in my retro lounge.
How did you become involved in the station?
A good friend of mine mentioned to me that RTRFM were looking for volunteer radio presenters. I signed up for the Radio Presenting Course which was fab, met some awesome people and now I’m a volunteer presenter.
If stuck on Mars, what five albums could you not go without?
This is not fair… five albums is not enough! But:
- Jean Michel Jarre – Oxygene
- Cerrone – Supernature
- Various Artists – Saturday Night Fever
- Various Artists – Sunset Ibiza
- Can I bring my 160GB iPod Classic?!
What is the best thing about being involved in the station?
Apart from the fact that RTRFM 92.1 is a really cool station and all the people I have met so far have been awesome, meeting new people who share the same interest, experiencing new music and what more could you ask for than being able to host a radio show and share your love of music with an audience? I feel I am doing something super positive, music is a universal language that brings everyone together.
What is the strangest thing that has happened to you at RTRFM?
Nothing strange yet, but an alien visitation would be nice, especially if it was the music I am playing which brought them down to planet earth.
If you could present a show other than your own, which would it be and why?
I have always been a bit of a night owl and I like playing varied selections of music so I will have to say Up Late and Snooze Button. If you pushed me I may go for Disco Science (I have a huge amazing collection of disco music) or Global Rhythm Pot for its diversity.
What do you do in real life?
Is this the real life?! I’m a Financial Systems geek.
