Presenting: Global Rhythm Pot
I started his RTR journey in 2004 when he was invited to do join the the Global Rhythm Pot (GRP) team. The five albums I would need to survive a nuclear holocaust would be 1. KISS (Self titled), 2. Stelios Kazantzidis (Best of), 3. Van Halen (Fair Warning), 4. Goran Bregovic (Best of), 5. Pix Lax (Best of).
The best thing about being involved in the station is having the opportunity and privilege to bring different sounds from around the globe to the wider listening community. It is also an honour to work with likeminded individuals within the whole RTR family.
The strangest thing has happened to me at RTR would be a request from a listener for me to DJ at an exotic dance club. Although very humbled I respectfully denied the request. If I could present a show other than my own I would love to have a go at Siamese Dream, El Ritmo, Trainwreck or Sunday Morning Coming Down.
In real life I work in the education and training sector. I perform various roles in teaching, curriculum development and school administration.
