Man of many names, Maurice Fulton, aka Boof, aka Dr. Scratch, aka Eddie & The Eggs, aka Equal People, aka Javen Souls, aka Ladyvipb, aka Orphies, aka Sticky People, aka Stress, aka The Noize Boyz, aka Syclops, is as prolific as he is fonky. Pioneering a distinct vision in the house music world since the mid 90s, he’s worked with the likes of The Basement Boys, Jimi Tenor, Mu, Crystal Waters, Alice Smith and many more.
It’s too difficult to say if this is his best, but it is certainly one of them. “Where’s Jason’s K” is a straight forward modern Funk masterpiece, guaranteed to tickle your dancing bones. The man returns to Perth this weekend to DJ at the legendary club night, Le Club at Connections night club in Northbridge – https://www.facebook.com/events/406267842896855/.
