How many stringed instruments can you name? Plucked strings has them all – from banjo’s to bouzoukis, from violas to violins – on Plucked Strings you’ll find out the difference and hear many recordings of them from around the globe. Instruments that are plucked, struck, strummed and bowed,

Plucked Strings has lutes, harps and zithers, and of course a few good old fashioned guitars thrown in for good measure. From folksy bluegrass jams to exotic eastern ragas, Plucked Strings includes all forms of string instruments with a focus on acoustic and classical arrangements.
