The extensive use of Social media websites such as Facebook and Twitter have assisted Queensland Police to communicate with people of flood affected areas. Through use of these sites correct information was able to be transferred quickly and correctly avoiding confusion. Kate Stephens spoke to Curtain University’s lecturer of Internet Studies to break it all down.
