Abracadabra ABACAXUVA

Tuesday 10th January / presented by Taylah Strano

Abracadabra, Abacackuva, and Abba Cax Oova are some of the many mispronunciations of Perth trio ABACAXUVA – a-buck-ah-shoe-vah.

Known for their quirky name, delightfully sweet sounds and myriad affiliations with other Perth bands, they’re gearing up for a set at Distant Murmurs this Saturday at the Rosemount.

Two thirds of the band – Rex Monsoon and Richard Ingham – joined Breakfast with Taylah for a linguistic lesson and a preview of this weekend’s festivities.
