Aria Responds to Piracy Laws

Monday 29th June / presented by Chris Wheeldon

Last week on The Mag, we covered how the Senate has passed the Copyright Amendment (Online Infringement) Bill 2015, looking at the implications with Curtin University Internet Lecturer Dr Tama Leaver.

In response, we've had more people wanting to discuss the true cost of blocking piracy sites to the consumer.

There's a couple of issues that Music Rights Australia have been wanting to discuss further.

Is this about government filtering - or copyright enforcement, for example?

General Manager of ARIA’s Music Rights Australia Vanessa Hutley joined us at RTRFM.
