Drug Testing Mandurah

Tuesday 29th August / posted by Will Backler

Over the past few days it has been announced that jobseekers in Mandurah will be having their welfare payments cut if they test positive to illicit substances.

As part of a trial run by the Federal Government, the drug testing trial will begin in January, testing 5,000 new jobseekers across three different locations in Australia.

Social Services Deputy CEO Jennie Gray spoke to Paul Hunt on The Mag this morning to explain the affect this could have on young people in WA.
