Exhibition: The Scars That We Mark Ourselves

Friday 14th July / presented by Annie Morris

SCAR is the latest collection of work by Indigenous photographer Michael Jalaru Torres (Jalaru Photography), it’s an exhibition exploring the marks we make on our landscape and on ourselves.

Michael’s part of the thriving indigenous art community that is set in Broome, and has always been passionate about depicting the raw beauty of Australian wilderness. SCAR will be held in the Wanneroo Gallery until 21st of July, showcasing a rich variety of modern and traditional stories.

Michael came into the studio today to discuss his exhibition in further detail.
