Grace Barbé

Wednesday 6th April / presented by Caitlin Nienaber

In the Pines is an RTRFM run event which holds 20 bands and 10 hours of glorious music. Each year it is the place to be for Perth music lovers and is held at the beautiful Somerville Auditorium at UWA.

In the Pines returns for its 23rd edition on April 24.

One of the many artists who’ll be making their debut on the Somerville Stage is Grace Barbé, who’s been earning a reputation over the last several years for one of the most compelling live shows in the country.

Grace Barbé and her band are just about to go on a big national tour before she comes back to own the Pines stage.

Caitlin caught up with Grace and started off by asking her about the experience in taking part in the Perth Festival opening performance of Home.
