Hackedepicciotto – dark musical masterpieces

Friday 6th July / presented by James Hall

Revelation Perth International Film Festival runs from July 15-18 and alongside a plethora of films there are also a host of great musical events on offer.
Taking place over 6-nights of the festival, Revelation Music Days is designed as a showcase for local and national musicians of all forms who are busting out and going places.

One of these groups is Hackedepicciotto, comprised of Alexander Hacke (bass, guitar and drums) & Danielle Picciotto (piano, violin, hurdy gurdy, autoharp, and kemençe).

Fresh off the plane from a string of shows in Auckland they'll be presenting Crossroads (a silent film with live music) and their album Menetekel live in concert, as well as an artist talk.

James Hall spoke to them about their music and upcoming shows this weekend.
