In the Pines Poster People

Thursday 21st April / presented by Caitlin Nienaber

Every year In the Pines boasts a bountiful line-up of local music.

But before the stage has even been set up, there’s an image of what the day will look like. There’s art to create, a poster to design, and t-shirts to make.

For many years artist, animator and Vine superstar Ken Ng has been coming up with the visual concepts for In the Pines, and for a couple of those years, those posters have featured the intricate illustrations of artist Anne Barnetson.

Ken & Anne joined Caitlin on Breakfast to reveal the inspiration behind this year’s poster.
