Kicking Goals In Coding

Wednesday 11th October / presented by Chris Butler

Today on International Day of the Girl, we sat down with Perth programmer Holly Ade-Simpson to discuss her experiences as a young woman in a male dominated industry. A national finalist for the 2017 iAwards, Holly turned down an internship with Google, in order to continue developing Mykicks; a mobile app that analyses a players kicking speed, accuracy and curve. Combining her passions for soccer and coding, Holly sat down with The Mag to discuss the app and her experiences building an app ahead of its launch next week.
