Learning in Another Country

Tuesday 8th April / presented by James Hall

If you had the opportunity to live and study anywhere in the world as part of your degree, would you take it?

Over the past few years, studying abroad has been emphasised more and more to university students, and even the Australian government is promoting exchange with their recent proposal of the New Colombo Plan.

The plan aims to encourage students to study abroad by offering more placements to overseas universities and providing more scholarships and funding to those students who take the plunge and go on exchange.

The importance of studying abroad is highlighted as it provides many long-lasting rewards such as career and academic benefits, as well as the unforgettable personal experience.
