Morning with an Immigrant

Tuesday 21st February / presented by Kylie Sturgess

London-based playwright and poet Inua Ellams is in town for the Perth Writers Festival.

Born in Nigeria, Ellams’ work explores the themes of Identity, Displacement and Destiny – areas of life he’s intimately familiar with.

And he’s been recognised with a number of awards including the prestigious 2009 Edinburgh Fringe First Prize.

His latest projects Barber Shop Chronicles and #Afterhours attempt to mix the worlds of graphic design, literature and the web together.
