Movie Squad 01/03/13

A quiet hush falls over the outfield as a lonely seagull wanders into view, pausing, briefly, to peck at nothing on the grass.

Maybe later, something will be there.

It wanders off.

And – CRACK – the distinctive sound and echo of leather hitting willow and the roar of the crowd.

Like a plaintive cry of pain from a Mammoth pierced in the belly by a ravenous Neanderthal or the lascivious howl of a beast on heat under a full moon – the sound is deafening.

And it heralds the arrival of Paul Grace and Tristan Fidler…
