Movie Squad: Queen of Katwe & Little Men

Friday 2nd December / presented by Caitlin Nienaber

Turn down the lights and set out the snacks – it’s time to head to the cinema.

Tristan Fidler and Simon Miraudo are Movie Squad and they’re here to talk about two of this week’s releases.

This week Tristan watched Queen of Katwe, a Disney produced film about a 10 year old chess champion from Africa, starring Oscar winners/nominees Lupita Nyong’o and David Oyelowo.

Simon gives  an overview of the Perth International Arts Festival’s film season at Sommerville and Joondalup Pines, including a review of the festivals opening film Little Men.
