Not Another Pop Group

Monday 9th March / presented by Caitlin Nienaber

The band reformation.

It's tricky territory when a much-loved band from the past gets back together and picks up where they left off.

It can go terribly wrong, but it can also go so right.

It feels like a case of the latter with The Pop Group: a post-punk outfit from Bristol who had a brilliant but brief burst of life in the late 1970s.

They have just released their first album in 35 years and they're touring it around the world.

Caitlin Nienaber caught up with frontman Mark Stewart and she started by asking him why the band decided to get back together

after so long apart.
