Old school, New trix

Tuesday 12th March / presented by Adam Trainer

Daniel Lopatin has been releasing music under the Oneohtrix Point Never moniker for the last half a decade or so. In that time he’s collaborated with the likes of Tim Hecker, James Ferraro and Laurel Halo, as well as releasing the Memory Vague DVD in 2009, where he paired processed snippets from 80s chartbusters with fetishistic visuals of outmoded technology. Lopatin will play the Bakery this Saturday March 16 alongside Actress and a huge local line-up, and chatted to RTRFM’s music director Adam Trainer, who began by asking Lopatin whether his touring schedule gets in the way of writing new music.
