Female Indigenous imprisonment has risen nearly 250 percent since the Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody in 1991.

This report comes from the Human Rights Law Centre and the change for the Record Coalition which calls for a system wide change to be made to address the issue.

Director of Legal Advocacy at the Human Rights Law Centre ADRIANNE WALTERS speaks with us on how these changes should and could be made..
