Pops in the Pines

Thursday 16th April / presented by Caitlin Nienaber

The saying goes – “Don’t take lollies from strangers” – but there’s one day of the year when that rule doesn’t apply. That day is In the Pines.

For as long as I can remember – a guy called Gavin has spent the day spreading the positive vibes with a bag full of Chupa Chups. He hands them out – we take them – and sometimes the only words uttered between us are a simple “thanks”.

So who is Gavin and what’s he about? When he came in, we asked him.
