R.I.P Mr Whippy

Thursday 21st March / posted by Chris Wheeldon

The West Australian music scene has lost a friend.

Jeremy Junk aka Mr Whippy was one of the founders of the Full Frequency and Looney Choons shows here on RTRFM, bringing dance music into the world of radio and into your homes and parties for many a year.

Jeremy was also highly influentially in creating the festival and large dance party scene in Perth with his company Delirium during the mid 90’s and into the 2000’s. He will be sorely missed by many people in Perth.

Friend and fellow party starter DJ Puff came into Full Freq in tribute.

Please note we can not podcast the tunes but head to the re-stream of Full Frequency to hear the mix and get lost in the music.

All live musical performances are included in our podcasts with the express permission of artists, who reserve all other rights in their music. All music used in our podcasts is licensed under an APRA Community Broadcasting license agreement.
