Roadtrip to End Poverty

Right now, more than a billion people are living in poverty worldwide, but we do have the power to change this.

In fact, the number of those living in extreme poverty has halved in the past twenty years alone.

The ‘Roadtrip to End Poverty’ is the latest initiative from the Oaktree Foundation in their campaign to make poverty history.

Over a thousand of the nations youth left their capital cities for Canberra to meet with the Australian Government and call on them to fulfill their promises in ending global poverty.

Although Australian aid has saved over two hundred thousand lives already, we still only contribute thirty-five cents out of every $100 donated, half of our leaders original promises.

Now into their sixth day of the road-trip, India’s Gold Pravin and Fremantle’s Rosie Henderson joined Andy Snelling…
