Science with Sarah: Platypus Milk, Interpreting Emotion & the Space Phenomenon named Steve

Thursday 22nd March / presented by Caitlin Nienaber

Each week we get a dose of the latest in science news with our resident genius, Sarah Lau!

This week…

  • Citizen scientists help NASA solve the mystery of a series of weird, purple lights in the Northern Aurora, which was given the name of Steve by the astrophysicists.
  • How Platypus milk may be the latest weapon used in the fight against antibiotic resistance.
  • And how humans are able to interpret another person’s emotions just by picking up on the subtle colour changes within the persons face (hint: it has something to do with the person’s blood flow)

Play Sciience with Sarah Lau 22nd March 2018
