Since their formation in the early 90s, indie rock powerhouse Screamfeeder have earned a place as one of Australia’s most-loved bands.
After releasing six albums and providing the soundtrack to a decade the Brisbane band took a break from writing and recording.
They caught the songwriting bug again in 2015 after a hugely successful run of shows to celebrate Poison City’s reissue of their first five albums.
On their new album Pop Guilt the Brisbane band sounds as good as ever: high energy riffs, sunny harmonies and lyrics bursting with the youthful love and longing they’ve always captured so perfectly.
Tim Steward called into The Mag for a chat with Chris Mason.
Screamfeeder play Hot Freaks on Friday 19 May.
