Screwtop Detonators on Screen

Friday 7th July / presented by Caitlin Nienaber

New documentary Meal Tickets follows the exploits of Perth band The Screwtop Detonators: their USA tour, their rise to popularity and their ultimate implosion.

Directed by Perth filmmaker Mat De Koning, it’s a film about friendship, the pitfalls of the music industry and what it’s like to be young and in a band.

Before the film has its Perth premiere at the Revelation Perth International Film Festival Benny Ward from the band dropped by Breakfast with Caitlin to reflect on the experience of seeing his life on the big screen.
