Slightly Odway: Southern River Band

Wednesday 14th March / presented by Caitlin Nienaber

“There’s a Kramer home video somewhere of me saying, ‘no more Stevie Ray, Mum – Diesel! Diesel!’”

Cal Kramer from The Southern River Band has been listening to Diesel Music since he was a kid in the back of his Mum’s Falcon.

He took us back to to the sleeveless days of 1989 on RTRFM 92.1 for Slightly Odway this morning with a stripped-back rendition of Johnny Diesel and the Injectors’ “Cry In Shame”.

You can catch The Southern River Band this Saturday night at the Rosemount

&: Fabian Rojas from Barefoot Sight
