Stopping the Freight Link

Monday 8th June / presented by Kylie Sturgess

The occupy high street event is the first of many to use non-violent action to help stop the Perth Freight Link.

Main Roads are planning to demolish seven homes to make way for the link which, as of yet, has no official approval.

On June 13th organisers are asking community members to come along and help polish up these homes to show the community wants the homes to remain as they are.

We’ve spoken to one of the organisers, Simon Peterffy on the Mag.
