“Tales from Boomtown” is a memoir by journalist and Clarion Prize winner Peter Kennedy – moments and memories from his career as a political reporter at the West Australian and the ABC.

In a nutshell, he’s seen it all. His new book tells the story of the colourful and controversial characters that have led this state.

Peter Kennedy joined James to talk about what’s it been like to observe the booms and bust ups that have shaped the rise the state and the rise and fall of some of it’s prominent individuals…
