The Garage Sale Trail

Tuesday 12th September / presented by Kylie Sturgess

In 2010 The Garage Sale Trail, a giant market place spanning across the area with locals signing up, was held in Bondi Beach for the first time.

The event was created to promote re-using materials, reducing waste, encouraging creativity and bringing the local community together.

Supported by more than one hundred and fifty local councils, in 2017 The Garage Sale Trail will be held over the weekend of October 21st and 22nd this year taking place across all of Australia.

Andrew Valder, co-founder of The Garage Sale Trails, joined The Mag this morning to tell us more about the event.
