The Island Of Ian Strange

Fremantle Arts Centre will be welcoming home artist Ian Strange over the next couple of months - hosting the world premiere exhibition of his latest work, ISLAND. Perth born and bred, Ian has been based in New York since 2009, but has returned to his home-town with his most recent work.

Previous works have seen Strange create abstract pieces including the encasing of entire buildings in wallpaper and the blacking out of entire homes with paint, where as this instalment looks into the psychological relationship to home...

Ian joined Naomi this morning on ARTBEAT to discuss his work in more detail....
