Tired Lion Come to the Party

Monday 15th August / presented by Caitlin Nienaber

One of the great pleasures of listening to RTRFM is witnessing bands as they blossom.

We hear their first demos, see their first performances, let them stumble through their first interviews and buy their records.

One such band is Tired Lion – a bunch of kids who’ve done all that stuff and have found themselves a fan base beyond their hometown and around the world.

This year has seen Sophie, Matt, Nick and Ethan go from In the Pines, to Glastonbury and Splendour in the grass and back again.

Sophie & Matt came to the party fashionably early on Breakfast with Caitlin for a stripped-back rendition of Not Your Friends and a Radiothon chat.
