As the company celebrates it’s 30th birthday this month, it’s also time for Tura New Music to announce this years The 13th Totally Huge New Music Festival! THNMF has been said to be a vibrant and whimsical world of sound that takes its audience on a unique, captivating and ear opening journey.

One Program that promises to be a unique Festival experience this is Fluorophone – An electro-acoustic program exploring light and sound presented by Speak Percussion.
Said to be a whirl-wind of created sights and sounds the program sees the central instruments radiate, flicker, glow and burn while they move between noise, theatrical music, and virtuosic instrumentalism to create a dazzling live performance experience…

Tos Mahone (Artistic Director at Tura New Music) and Eugene Ughetti (Composer, Conductor & Artistic Director for Speak Percussion) joined us on The Mag to tell us more regarding this up-and-coming, not to mention excitement filled, festival.
