We hear about the Animal Justice Party AJP Western Australia’s policies and philosophy from Katrina V Love, and ask The Greens (WA)’sSenator Scott Ludlam about his environmental priorities and a range of political parties’ view about uranium mining expressed at a spirited candidates’ forum on Monday.

We also drop into Monday’s spirited Candidates’ forum in Fremantle. Did the Liberal Party of Australia’s Matthew Hanssen really say nuclear energy was “very clean in its own way”? Did Australian Labor Party’s Melissa Parke MP pledge to campaign against her own party’s stance on uranium mining, and advocate the abolition of nuclear weapons? Did Greens for Fremantle : Jordon Steele-Johnreally call Western Australia the “Saudi Arabia of sunlight”? Socialist Alliance Sam Wainwright promises to take on the fossil fuel corporates, and Australian Protectionist Party Teresa Van Lieshout says no to sending uranium overseas, but considers nuclear power in Australia possible…
