Understorey: Tom Wilson and this Old Place

Wednesday 12th April / posted by Elizabeth PO’ Adrian Glamorgan

Two hundred years ago, some Europeans spoke South West Aboriginal language; a hundred years ago, campers in the Darling Ranges heard the many sounds of nocturnal native animals.

There is much to gain through finding our connection with country, perhaps ‘rewilding’ our land and ourselves.  Thomas M. Wilson, author of Stepping Off: Rewilding and belonging in the South West, speaks with Understorey about heritage, history, family, to help us understand the ground beneath our feet, and the spaces in between.
