Unlabelled #3: Bedroom Suck Records

Tuesday 15th December / presented by Coel Healy

Unlabelled is a monthly exploration of some of the world’s most culturally significant music labels. Beyond just releasing music, labels play an important part in the collection and curation of music. Labels are often key in finding, reissuing and preserving music that would otherwise be lost in the endless sea of new releases.

This week on Unlabelled, Coel Healy speaks to Bedroom Suck co-founder Joe Alexander. Bedroom Suck is well known for releasing great Australian records from the likes of Boomgates, Love of Diagrams, Bitch Prefect and heaps more. In this episode Joe reveals how he got his start in Brisbane and then later moved to Melbourne, what he loves about Australian music and how he approaches each release.
