A Call for a Royal Commission

Thursday 23rd June / posted by Talks Team

A WA Parliamentary inquiry setup to investigate the suicide of a 10-year-old Indigenous girl in the state's North-West has heard that the situation requires a Royal Commission.

Suicide prevention researcher and activist GERRY GEORGATOS joined PAUL VAN LIESHOUT to discuss the seriousness of the situation when it comes to  Aboriginal suicide.

If you believe that you, or anyone you know, might be at risk of suicide, please call Lifeline on 13 11 14, or the Suicide Call Back Service on 1300 659 467.
