PREMIERE: Cuss goes on a musical adventure to the Mainland

Friday 30th November / posted by Will Backler

Perth's Cuss are no strangers to getting crowds swaying and faces smiling, with a slew of  appearances at house parties, local gigs and pretty hefty support slots cementing their spot in the local alt-rock scene. Their debut release Never Again / Mainland launches Cuss into the limelight with a double release of soulful, folk tinged rock.

The four piece's two tracks sparkle with jangly guitar, warm percussion and bass lines and simple but evocative lyricism, resulting in warm and sunny sounds with a touch of introspection. Never Again is a bright and bobbing four and a half minutes of skipping guitar melodies and impassioned lyrics while Mainland adds a languid  electric organ line to create an easy, low slung rock 'n' roller.

Cuss' Never Again / Mainland debuted this morning on Breakfast with Taylah and you can stream the two tracks below before they drop on Monday, 3 December.
