On Friday 20 September, RTRM 92.1 will disrupt our regular programming to join the millions of people across the globe taking urgent action for our planet.
Our house is on fire — let’s act like it. This is not business as usual.
RTRFM 92.1 is participating in the Global Climate Strike action in the best way possible, with a special live broadcast from the Perth Cultural Centre (outside PICA).
Breakfast presenter Taylah Strano will be interviewing arts and cultural workers fighting for climate action ahead of the rally. You can join us outside PICA from 10am before we march as one towards Forrest Place.
We invite everyone to participate in this global action calling on governments and corporations to take immediate and long lasting action on climate change.
If you can not make it to the strike, stay tuned to the Sound Alternative.
From 11am until 2pm we will hear from artists, activists and Global Climate Strikers as we discuss how we can change the future for our young people.
We’ll cap it off with an extra special edition of Revolver until 3pm on RTRFM 92.1 The Sound Alternative.
We demand climate justice for everyone. We urge everyone to participate.
Stay tuned to the RTRFM for our special broadcast, join us on the streets as we demand action, and keep up the fight by telling your local and federal members of parliament that inaction is not acceptable.
Time: 10am - 3pm
