Summer’s Last Stand 2020

SUMMERS LAST STAND RETURNS TO THE SUNSET VERANDA AS PART OF FRINGE WORLD 2020.

RTRFM and The City of Stirling have teamed up for an all ages, end of school holidays gig under the big top at Sunset Veranda, Scarborough.

Summers Last Stand, Wednesday January 29th at Sunset Veranda, brings Carla Geneve, Phoneline Valentine anDJ Aslan together for an all ages show to end the school holidays with a bang.

Carla Geneve is one of Perth’s finest live acts and song writers. Having played across the country and releasing her debut album in 2019. Her ode to her local chemist, Greg’s Discount Chemist was the most played track across RTRFM in 2018 and is truly beloved by West Australian music lovers.

Having graduated from garage to stage in 2019, Phoneline Valentine’s catchy, hooky riffs and melodies are a treat to watch and hear. Having just turned 18, the four piece are going from strength to strength on the live scene across the state.

As the bands play inside, DJ Aslan will keep the party going outside under the summer sky.

Hang out with us and The City of Stirling at the best gig to end the school holidays, Summer’s Last Stand.

This is an all ages, free non-ticketed event.

Kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

With Love From WA 

A fundraiser for the East Coast Fire Disasters

In response to the devastation of the recent Australian fires, the Perth music community has come together to present With Love From WA – A Fundraiser for the East Coast Fire Disasters, on Sunday 16th February at Rosemount Hotel with all funds raised going directly to people and animals affected by the bush fires.

Perth artists were quick to jump in and donate their time to this exemplary effort to deliver aid to those affected by this calamitous National disaster. The first announce features prominent acts including Drapht, Katy Steele, Great Gable, Dulcie, The Money War and Demon Days amongst a slew of highly regarded Perth talent.

So too have Perth music businesses come together to lend a hand as Across The Road Music, 360 Artist Logistics and Cool Perth Nights team up to present the event, with RTRFM, Matchless Music, Hammerink, Oztix, and Minute Man Balcatta teaming up to do away with event costs and ensure every single cent raised from ticket sales will be donated to where it is sorely needed. Rosemount Hotel are not only providing the event space free of charge for this event, but have also pledged to donate a healthy share of all bar sales, so get thirsty!

Harbour Sundays 2020

RTRFM AND THE WESTERN AUSTRALIAN MUSEUM’S FREE LIVE MUSIC SERIES HARBOUR SUNDAYS SET TO MAKE A SPLASH AT THE WA MARITIME MUSEUM IN 2020

After a wonderful fourth season, Harbour Sundays is back for 2020 for your perfect Sunday evening local music fix at one of Perth’s most picturesque venues, the WA Maritime Museum. Stay in touch via the Facebook Event here.

A joint collaboration with RTRFM and the WA Maritime Museum Harbour Sundays puts you and local musicians in front of one of Fremantle’s most sought-after views.

Join us from 4pm on the Museum’s  balcony at Victoria Quay for four weeks throughout February for local music, DJs, drinks and snacks, and the best spot in Perth to watch the sun go down. Watch the boats and yachts, the tugs and barges, as they roll in and out of Fremantle’s working port.

The 2020 season kicks off on Sunday February 2 with the pop magic of Sgt Hulka and the sultry, country twang of Lincoln McKinnon and the Wrecking Train. With the DJ styles of Mr Fremantle Tom Fisher of Clancy’s Fish Pub.

On Sunday February 9, we delve into the world of magical songwriting with the sounds of Brayden Sibbald and the majestic Fraeya. Then hang around for DJ Taylah Strano from Breakfast with Taylah.   

Sunday February 16,  we have the harmonic sea shanties of The Lost Quays and the growling blues of Dan Howls, before Sunday Morning Coming Down legends Lorraine Clifford and Justine Dandy brings you home.

And to close out the 2020 series, on Sunday February 23 we get funky and dubby with The Bambuseae Rhythm Section and the reggae riddims of Crucial Rockers. Plus, DJ Osric from Black & Blue will let you party till the sun sets.

Harbour Sundays is the perfect way to spend a summer by the Indian Ocean, with stunning ocean views at an iconic Fremantle landmark and some of the city’s finest local musicians.

With beer and cider from the team at Gage Roads Brewing Co., there is no excuse not to spend your Sunday within the heart of Fremantle Quay.

UNDER THE SKY SESSIONS RETURNS TO THE SUNSET VERANDA AS PART OF FRINGE WORLD 2020.

RTRFM and The City of Stirling are proud to present Under the Sky Sessions, your free weekend entertainment in the beautiful surrounds of Sunset Veranda, Brighton Reserve, Scarborough.

As part of Fringe World 2020, The City of Stirling present a venue on the beach with Sunset Veranda, a free all ages bar by the beach.
