RTRFM AND THE WESTERN AUSTRALIAN MUSEUM’S FREE LIVE MUSIC SERIES HARBOUR SUNDAYS RETURNS TO THE WA MARITIME MUSEUM IN 2018

After a wonderful second season, Harbour Sundays is back for 2018 for your perfect Sunday night local music fix at one of Perth’s most picturesque venues, the WA Maritime Museum.

Join us on the Museum’s balcony at Victoria Quay for five weeks of local music, DJs, drinks and the best spot in Perth to watch the sun go down.

The 2018 season kicks off on Sunday January 28 with country styling’s of Delilah Rose and the Gunslingers, alongside the folk tinged soulfulness of the Kat Wilson Trio, plus DJ Jas Hughes of Tuesday Drivetime.

On Sunday February 4, we are blessed with the talents of singer songwriter Grace Sanders who produces blissful soul music, plus the amazing song-writing and soaring vocals of one of Perth’s finest song writers, Jacob Diamond. Joining them will be one of RTRFM’s longest serving presenters and founders of the Drastic on Plastic program, Lorraine Clifford.

Sunday February 11 sees an eclectic duo of musicians, spanning jazz to Cuban salsa. Join Human Contact the jazz concept band lead by WAYJO maestro Alana McPherson, plus the Cuban magic of Cube De Son for some traditional Cuban salsa on your Sunday. DJ Claude Mono from El Ritmo will keep the wonderful vibes flowing with his eclectic musical excursions.

Perth favourite troubadour The Justin Walshe Folk Machine will take you on a story telling journey on Sunday February 18 with his wonderful take on the world, joining him will be Racoo Charles and The Moke Folk with their distinctively Fremantle take on folk/country music. Rockin’ The Roots’ Tamara Szep will continue your musical journey as DJ.

Harbour Sundays closes its 2018 season on Sunday February 25 with a hell of party. Grace Barbe and Jamie Searle’s other project, Crucial Rockers will have you swaying on the balcony with a sublime selection of reggae tinged tunes, and Boom Bap Pow will close things out with their neo soul magic. Lead by Novak Bull, Boom Bap Pow belt out tune after tune of hip shaking goodness. SoulsidesDJ Foxman will continue the party with his selection of 45 classics.
