What to expect
RTRFM 92.1’s In The Pines will feature 21 bands in its 2021 edition, with an incredible line-up of local artists playing over 10 hours, across two stages, in the idyllic surrounds of UWA Somerville Auditorium on Sunday 18 April.
It marks the second ‘Pines’ in six months, following the successful and much-anticipated rescheduled 2020 event. However, In the Pines 2021 returns to its spiritual home in April.

In The Pines is a celebration of local music, bringing together some of the best talent from our town and sharing it with the people of Perth to enjoy for a whole day and night at our home away from home for the last 27 years, Somerville.
‘Pines’ is the perfect antidote to a year and a half we wish to forget, and reminds us of the amazing music that exists in our city.
We’ll be broadcasting all the happenings live on your radio from 12pm -10pm at 92.1, on digital and online at rtrfm.com.au.

COVID EVENT PLAN
A Covid Event Plan will be in place and we ask you to do the below:
> Download the SafeWA App and have it ready for check in when you arrive. A paper registry will be on hand also.
> Sanitise your hands when you can. Stations will be set up around the site.
> Keep 1.5 metres away from people not in your household as much as you can.
> If you are feeling unwell, please do not attend the event. If you need a refund drop us a line after the event.
Getting there
By Car: You can drive as there is plenty of parking on Hackett Drive and in UWA.
By Bus:
From the City – Perth Esplanade Busport
Route No. 950, 23, 102 and 107 Journey time 10 minutes Leaves every 1-15 minutes
Wellington Street Bus Station Route No. 102 and 107 Journey time 20 minutes Leaves every 15-30 minutes
From Fremantle – Route No. 98 and103 Journey time 30 minutes Leaves every 15 minutes.
No BYO Alcohol. We have a fairly priced bar on site.
BYO Food. You can bring a picnic but we also have food trucks on site. All money raised goes towards RTRFM operating costs.
Smoking – UWA is a none smoking campus. Please refrain from smoking on site.
There will be no place for anti-social behaviour and a zero tolerance approach to discrimination or harassment. If you feel at any point unsafe at In The Pines, please approach a member of RTRFM Staff, UWA Staff or Security. Everyone has the right to a good time no matter how you look or express yoursel
