Radiothon 2021: Still Here With You

RTRFM IS STILL HERE WITH YOU AS THE PERTH COMMUNITY RADIO STATE KICKS OFF RADIOTHON FROM AUGUST 13 – 22, 2021.

Radiothon is RTRFM’s annual subscription drive running from Friday 13 to Sunday 22 August.  It’s the time of year when our presenters, volunteers and staff call on listeners to put their money where their ears are and SUBSCRIBE and donate to keep community radio strong and vibrant.

No matter what the world throws at us, RTRFM is still here, championing the very best arts, culture and music Perth and beyond has to offer, and we don’t plan on stopping any time soon! But we can’t do it without your support. We’re calling on everyone – our listeners, supporters, sponsors and community – to get involved and be part of our bright future by subscribing to RTRFM during Radiothon.

By subscribing and donating, you’re not just supporting a unique radio station; you’re supporting the cultural fabric of our city.

RTRFM is funded by local people who believe it’s important to hear different music, local stories, and diverse voices on their airwaves. RTRFM are now calling on our subscribers to keep the community on your radio. By becoming a subscriber, you are:

The financial support subscribers give us during Radiothon makes up 30% of our annual income and ensures that we can continue to make and share independent radio for another year which is an essential part of a vibrant local culture and diverse media landscape.

Subscribing in 2021 ensures we remain a pillar of Perth’s diverse cultural scene and continue to bring our valued community alternative sounds, unique events across the city and engaging talks programming that keeps our listeners inspired and informed.

Radiothon 2021 will be all gas, no brakes. Launching the event is the return of our Radiothon Early Birds and Breakfast with Taylah broadcast at The Bird from 6am on the morning Radiothon kicks off – Friday August 13. With Crab Claw DJ’s sound tracking the morning, an installation by Holiday Feelings, food, drinks and that special early morning glow. Plus, Brekky host, Taylah, will be joined by Movie Squad and Noah Dillon for a chat and a live tune.

Followed by a Northbridge takeover for the Radiothon Party on the Saturday August 14 at Ezra Pound, The Bird, Lynott’s Lounge and The Rechabite with DJ’s from Full Frequency and The Rounds.
